Minors fall among SNS crime victims
The number of children aged 17 or younger victimized in crimes via social networking services or community sites in the first half of this year fell by 37 from a year earlier to 509, according to a tally released by the National Police Agency on Thursday.
The number of suspected crimes involving such services and sites detected by police fell by 127 cases to 599, it said.
Victims aged 17 or younger of crimes involving dating sites numbered 124, down nine from a year before, according to the agency’s tally.
